UPCOMING SHOWS: March is a busy month with two solo shows opening the last week in Texas and Washington, DC. First Consumed, my series documenting America through the prism of fast-food will be opening at the Cole Opera House at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacodogches, Texas March 24 where I'll be for an artist lecture . I'll also be at the second session of Fotofest and spending some time at the Houston Cattle Show. March 27 brings my first solo show at Irvine Contemporary (1412 14th St NW, WDC) with an artist reception from 6.30-8 pm . American Vernacular will feature 12 photographs culled from my series, Consumed and Off-Season. OTHER VERY EXCITING NEWS: The Smithsonian Institution Museum of American History has acquired my work for their permanent collection.
